Saison is an American restaurant located in San Francisco, California. Our menu is constantly evolving, yet always abides by a few simple constants. All of our cooking revolves around open wood fire. We work with a small group of fisherman, hunters, gatherers, ranchers, and farmers to find and follow microclimates that produce specific tastes from wild foods. Lastly, we steer clear of imported and commercial goods, opting instead to build our own pantry through patient harvesting and preservation.


We serve dinner Tuesday through Saturday evenings. Reservations can be made 90 days in advance. At 8 am PT on the 1st of every month, reservations are released for the following 90 days. You may make a reservation at any time during the three month period.


A meal at Saison is whatever you want it to be—within reason. There are no set menus. Our team tailors each diner’s experience to the individual’s preferences and desired duration.
